Exactly one week ago, the Golden State Warriors secured their 4th NBA championship in the last seven years and the 7th in franchise history. The Dubs had to fight hard to prove that they weren’t done yet and their dynasty was still alive. They never played a Game 7 during the 2022 playoffs, demonstrating that they were the team to beat in the league.
After everything was said and done, everybody started celebrating, taking shots at doubters, predicting that this wasn’t the end for the Warriors, and having a lot of fun at the expense of the 29 teams that couldn’t beat them.
Stephen Curry has a lot of reasons to celebrate after winning his first Finals MVP following an impressive performance against the Boston Celtics, and everybody joined him after the series was over. Ayesha Curry was really proud of her husband and never hesitated to show her love and admiration for the Chef.
Moreover, the Currys were spotted dancing and having a great time together, but one fan thought that their hot dance was the preamble of something else. After a short video of Steph and his wife dancing saw the light, one fan claimed we could get a new Curry soon.
The Curry family has gotten bigger in recent years. They have three kids together, and it doesn’t seem like they’re against the idea of adding a new one to their lovely family. Meanwhile, Steph is playing great basketball, being the ‘petty king’ and taking things personally when others doubt him.
He’s getting ready to compete in another NBA season where everybody will be ready to dethrone the Warriors. As long as he has Ayesha’s support, Stephen will be just fine.

Stephen Curry Opens 2022 ESPY Awards with Joke About LeBron James: He ‘Hosted After Losing the NBA Finals’
Thanks to host Stephen Curry, the 2022 ESPY Awards kicked off with a bang on Wednesday
Curry, who won his fourth NBA title in June, immediately began the night with a joke about his longtime rival, Los Angeles Lakers player LeBron James.
“I’m the second NBA player to host this award show, which is kind of crazy to think about,” Curry told the audience at the Dolby Theater in Los Angeles.
“LeBron James, he hosted this award show back in 2007, after losing in the NBA Finals,” he continued before taking a sip of his drink. “So yes, you guessed it, this feels better, this feels better.”
James and Curry have faced off many times in the past. Curry’s Golden State Warriors bested James’ Cleveland Cavaliers in three out of their four NBA Finals matchups, though the Cavs returned from a 1-3 deficit to win the 2016 NBA title against the team.
ESPN first announced Curry would host the 30th edition of the ESPY Awards on June 29.
“I’ve had the pleasure of attending The ESPYS but never imagined I’d have the privilege of hosting this special event,” Curry said in a statement provided to ESPN at the time.
He added: “As someone who loves the intersection of sports and entertainment, I look forward to delivering an exciting show for the fans while we celebrate the athletes who created the top moments of the year.”
On Tuesday, Curry shared a sneak preview of the ESPY Awards stage in an Instagram Story.
“It’s about to go down,” Curry said. “And as you can see, the stage is ready, the audience is ready, it’s going to be fun. ESPYs 2022, let’s get it!”
The reigning NBA Finals MVP is nominated for three awards at the show: Best Athlete, Men’s Sports; Best Record-Breaking Performance; and Best NBA Player.
Curry is up against fellow NBA stars Luka Dončić, Joel Embiid, and Nikola Jokić for Best NBA Player. At the same time, he is nominated alongside NFL quarterback Aaron Rodgers, MLB two-way player Shohei Ohtani and NHL center Connor McDavid for the best men’s athlete award.
The third award Curry is up for comes he broke Ray Allen’s record for the most 3-point shots made in NBA history in a game against the New York Knicks in December. Allen’s record stood at 2,973 3-point shots made. At the end of the 2021-22 NBA season, Curry made 3,117 3-point shots.
Curry’s Warriors teammate, Klay Thompson, is nominated for Best Comeback Athlete, while Golden State as a franchise is nominated for Best Team.
In 2021, actor Anthony Mackie hosted the ESPY Awards from New York City. This year’s show, with Curry as host, airs live at 8 p.m. ET from Los Angeles.
Doting dad Stephen Curry wants time to slow down!
The Golden State Warriors player, 34, shouted out his daughter Riley’s 10th birthday on Instagram Wednesday, celebrating the childhood milestone.
“July 19, 2012. 10 years watching you blossom has been the best of the best! Now- stop growing up so fast please…..We love you😍,” Stephen wrote, posting a smiling shot of Riley wearing a “birthday princess” crown with her hands outstretched. “Wayyyyy up she feels blessed! 🦄🏐”
Proud mom Ayesha Curry also posted footage of some family fun for Riley’s big day to her Instagram Story, showing a trip to the arcade with her husband and eldest daughter. Stephen and Ayesha also share daughter Ryan, 7, and son Canon, 3.
At the arcade, The Full Plate cookbook author shared a selfie with Riley captioned “Double digit behavior,” in addition to video of herself shooting hoops with her NBA star spouse.

In 2015, when she was 2½, Riley famously won fans when she joined her father for a press conference following the Warriors’ win over the Houston Rockets in Game 1 of the Western Conference finals. Riley crawled under the table and onto his lap, interrupting her dad as he spoke with reporters to say, “You’re too loud, Daddy!”

It’s been a celebratory time in the Curry household as Riley’s little sister also recently celebrated her birthday. Ryan turned 7 on July 11, and Stephen shared a similar tribute, posting a pic with the birthday girl holding up a peace sign as they sat together in a golf cart.
“Special happy birthday and Lucky #7 for my Ryan!!!” he captioned the shot. “Love everything about this special girl 😍🦋 shine bright my baby.”
Ayesha also celebrated Ryan with a series of photos shared on her own Instagram page. The cute carousel showed Ryan posing in a white outfit and matching beret, later enjoying a tea party at a restaurant.

Following a number of recent explosions over radio, the seven-time world champion believes it is time he and his fellow drivers show more respect with their language when competing.
He commented: “I’ve been here for a long time, it’s not my first rodeo. I think at the core of everything, there has to be respect.
“When I think about, and I hear the things that come out of drivers’ mouths, I do think there are kids watching us, and they’re looking to us for inspiration and for guidance.”

He added: “For me, I’m just trying to remain positive and keep calm, and again, just be respectful to the drivers that I am fighting.

The pair will resume their battle this weekend in Mexico City for the Mexican Grand Prix, and the Englishman knows it could well be now or never if he is to clinch his fifth title in a row.
Despite the mounting pressure, the Mercedes man believes this week’s track could well suit opponent Verstappen and his Red Bull car.
Hamilton commented: “We did win last time but that was only because Max made a mistake and got a penalty. Otherwise, they were much quicker than us. So we expect that it will be very similar this weekend.”
Golden State could have the best package in NBA to pull off a trade deal for Durant
The Golden State Warriors are reportedly interested in pulling off a trade deal with the Brooklyn Nets that would involve a massive haul of its young core to reunite Kevin Durant and Stephen Curry.
Durant, 33, requested a trade on Thursday and the Warriors were initially the only team in the league that wasn’t interested.
Senior NBA writer for ESPN, Marc J. Spears, reported Sunday that Golden State may be interested in getting Durant back to San Francisco.
Spears believes the Warriors have the league’s best assets to give the Nets in exchange for KD.
“The one team, I’m telling you guys, is keep an eye on, is the Golden State Warriors,” Spears said. “Golden State could have the best package for both parties.
“Jordan Poole, Jonathan Kuminga, All-Star Andrew Wiggins, and former No. 2 pick James Wiseman.”

Nets want young All-Stars
Spears reported the news on an ESPN radio segment, during which he expanded on why Brooklyn should be thrilled to get Poole, Wiggins, Kuminga and Wiseman.
Durant was heavily linked to a Phoenix Suns move when he first asked for the trade but Nets were unwillingly to do a deal that did not involve Devin Booker.
The Toronto Raptors then became the frontrunner to land Durant but Spears’ report could catapult the Dubs to the top of that list.
Spears believes the move would be a win-win-win because both franchises would be happy with the trade and Durant would be thrilled to move back to the city that saw him win two NBA title and two NBA Finals MVP awards.
“What the Nets want is, they want a young All-Star or perhaps a future All-Star. They’re all under 30,” Spears said. “They also want picks. Maybe the ability to swap picks. But if you can get those four players, if I’m the Nets, I’m very, very happy.
“And for Kevin Durant, the Warriors, they’re very familiar with him and vice-versa. He knows where to live in San Francisco. He knows how the offense works. He knows he can win a championship there.”

Kevin Durant’s issues with Golden State
Durant has previously claimed that problems with the coaching staff and front office led to his exit from Golden State in 2019.
Warriors have already proven that they can keep winning championships without Durant but it’s unlikely they’ll let this opportunity pass.
“Yeah, he and Steve Kerr will probably need to figure some things out,” Spears said. “But with each passing day that this carries on, I’ve heard the Warriors have interest.
“In terms of a young haul, in terms of people being happy on both sides, to me the Golden State option is the best option.”
Following his comments on ESPN Radio, Spears tweeted that he’s not surprised the Warriors are interested in acquiring Durant.
If Golden State can pull off this trade, not only would they get significantly better, but they would also make sure the Suns and Raptors can’t land one of the best players of this generation.

The 6-foot-6 forward grew up in Northern California and played four seasons of college ball at Marquette University. After going undrafted in 2015, he spent some time playing internationally and in the G League before the Warriors added him to their roster for the 2019-20 season.
Toscano-Anderson contributed to them as a bench player who could make things happen at both ends of the floor, and he managed to shoot 40.2 percent from 3-point range during the 2020-21 season.
One of the reasons the Warriors were able to go all the way this year was their immense depth at the wing spot. Players such as Toscano-Anderson, Jonathan Kuminga, Otto Porter Jr., Andre Iguodala and Damion Lee came in off the bench to give them 3-point shooting and defense to help their cause.
This past season, the Lakers lacked serviceable depth at both forward positions, as they had to make do with Trevor Ariza and Carmelo Anthony, both of whom looked washed up.
Toscano-Anderson may not be a game-changer for L.A., but he can help it hold down the fort, and at age 29, he is far younger than Ariza and Anthony, which by itself will help the team moving forward.
